A position has become available at Cooper House for an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse to join our team. Minimum hours per fortnight 30 hours with the view to pick up additional hours. We are looking for the right person for this position that work well within a team environment offering the best possible outcomes for residents. 


Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Align one's workplace behaviour in accordance with the WMQ Model of Care, the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland's Vision, Mission and Value
  2.  To observe, monitor, document and report signs, symptoms and changes in residents' status, and to follow up with appropriate care.
  3.  To administer medications under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  4.  To contribute to the formulation and implementation of care plans.
  5.  Implement and comply with relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
  6.  To work within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice.
  7.  Achieve outcome standards and service delivery practice in accordance with Government regulations and other relevant bodies.
  8.  Ensure Resident's right to privacy, dignity and confidentiality are respected.
  9.  Follow safe work practices at all times.
  10.  Assist with orientation, training and supervision of staff.
  11.  Contribute to continuous quality improvement processes to ensure a high standard of practice and service delivery.
  12. Participate in the performance development system. Manage own professional development and provide evidence of this on request.
  13.  Other duties as directed by the Manager and/or Registered Nurse.
