Personal Carer

Jacobs Court a Residential Aged Care located at Sinnamon Village near Jindalee DFO. We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Personal Carers to join our team.
We require full availability with flexibility to work shifts, preferably between 1445hrs - 1845hrs or 1600hrs - 2000hrs.
The successful applicants will be able to work with minimum supervision and be adaptable within their availability.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Align ones workplace behaviour in accordance with the principles, values and Mission of the organisation.
- To work as part of a team to provide catering, cleaning and personal care in a home like environment for residents, their family and friends.
- To assist residents to attain and maintain their optimum degree of independence, dignity, privacy and quality of life.
- To report to Nurse Manager, RN, and/or Supervisor.
- To recognise health and environmental hazards and be proactive in corrective action.
- To contribute to the assessment process of residents including documentation.
- To be an active participant in continuous quality improvement environment.
- To participate in Workplace Health and Safety, infection control and training as required.
