Toowong Kindergarten and Child Care Centre has an exciting opportunity for casual work. We cater for 50 children – aged from 6 months to five years and offer an Approved Kindergarten Program with a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. We are looking for casual Lead Educators and Assistant Educators to join our team. We work closely with Jahjumbeen and The Gap Kindergarten and Child Care Centre which allows us to offer more casual hours per week.
Applicants need:
· Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent
· Current Working with Children Suitability Notice
· Approved First Aid qualifications
To join our team, it is essential that you:
· Communicate effectively and positively with all stakeholders
· Create responsive learning and inviting learning environments
· Demonstrate proactive leadership qualities
· Deliver a responsive early childhood program reflecting service the Early Years Learning Framework, our philosophy and the National Quality Standards.
· Closely liaise with the service's educational leader
· Have skills to prioritise and manage work projects efficiently and effectively.
