Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator

Cooper House is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team in enhancing an activities program to our much loved residents. The position is a permanent part time position at approximately 20 hours per week working along side another Leisure and Lifestyle coordinator to offer choice and activities to our residents on Thursdays 0830-1630, Fridays 0830-1630 and Saturdays 10- 1500.
Musical talent would be desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- To assist resident to attain and maintain their optimum degree of independence and quality of life.
- Prepare and lead individual and group social and recreational activities encompassing the cultural, emotional and spiritual needs of the resident.
- Assist with education, coordination and supervision of volunteer.
- Document and report ongoing progress of resident and programs.
- Ensure compliance of the Leisure and Lifestyle team with workplace health and safety requirements, organisational policies and procedures.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably directed by the manager.
