Personal Carer

Our homes offer premiere aged care living at its finest where staff strive to exceed expectations in all aspects of operations from cleanliness to customer service with our resident satisfaction a priority. Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff ensure our residents are living their best life.
We are seeking Personal Carers who are passionate about delivering the best possible care to our residents, have a willingness to work flexible hours (morning, afternoon and Night shifts), learn additional job skills, have a positive attitude and be capable to work within a team environment.
You must have completed a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
You must have previous experience working a an Aged Care environment
Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Build positive relationships with care recipients, families and colleagues. • Positively contribute to the warmth and welcoming culture of the Home. • Align one's workplace behaviour with the WMQ Model of Care, the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland's Vision, Mission and Values. • Work as part of a team to provide catering, cleaning and personal care in a neighbourhood/community like environment for care recipients. • Assist care recipients to attain and maintain their optimum degree of independence, dignity, privacy and quality of life.
