Team Leader - Youth At Risk Alliance

Team Leader - Youth At Risk Alliance
72 hours per fortnight
12 month contract position
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Align personal leadership behaviour and ethical standards with the WMQ Model of Care, the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland's Vision, Mission and Values.
- Align personal leadership behaviour and ethical standards with the WMQ Charter, Values and Mission of the organisation.
- Facilitate monthly panel meetings including referral process, setting agendas, organising and scheduling meetings, distributing minutes, supporting case plan development and follow through of plans with panel members.
- Develop and or enhance paradigm where integration and collaboration is committed to, understood and practised by each organisation /department involved.
- Identify gaps in service provision and develop protocol for these to be addressed.
- Promote CNAP Panels throughout network using effective communication and marketing plans.
- Provide accurate case notes, report writing, and evaluations as needed.
- Develop, manage and evaluate Projects to facilitate continuity of care for young people with complex needs.
- Assist Alliance in broadening funding base to sustain resources including writing formal funding submissions.
- Be actively involved in establishing and maintaining YARA networks including to meet the needs of the target group, promote the activities and vision of YARA, liaise with other community organisations, school representatives, government departments and other relevant services as needed.
- Develop and maintain systems for all YARA data as required and provide administrative support in the absence of clerical staff.
- Work within budget constraints, assist in invoice reconciliation and manage brokerage funds.
- Supervise and manage a team of Youth and Family Workers to facilitate Panel outcomes including their supervision and professional development.
- Active participation in regular staff and casework meetings as well as in training and supervision of volunteers, students and other staff as required.
- Participate in professional development activities as well as in regular supervision with Director or other nominated Supervisor.
- Accept other duties as may be determined by YARA Manager.
