Finance Officer Accounts Receivable

Seeking an experienced accounts receivable officer to work at our corporate office in Chermside, the position is full time (76 hrs per fortnight), fixed 6 month contract covering Maternity leave. The applicant to be able to perform full function accounts receivable duties.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Align one's workplace behaviour in accordance with the WMQ Model of Care, the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland's Vision, Mission and Values.
2. Full function accounts receivable for Wesley Mission Queensland including Residential Aged Care, Independent Living accounts, community care
3. Undertake collection of debt tasks for WMQ programs including but not limited to Community Care, Residential Aged Care and Retirement Living.
4. Reconcile Medicare payment Summaries and make any necessary adjustments
5. Letters from the Department of Human Services with fee changes to be prioritised on receipt of letter.
6. Prepare, collate and issue debtor statements
7. Ensure accounts receivable Journals are efficiently and accurately maintained and ready for processing
8. Undertake daily banking tasks and apply payments
9. Internal and external communication to be written clearly, succinctly and correctly, avoiding unnecessary use of jargon or complicated language and in a well-structured and logical way
10. As required provide break and leave relief coverage for Finance staff and reception.
11. Maintain current and accurate procedures for role duties
12. Other duties as directed by Finance Manager.
