Personal Carer

Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Demonstrated ability or willingness to learn how to provide quality catering, cleaning and personal care services using a variety of catering and cleaning equipment and chemicals.
2. Demonstrated compassion and respect for residents, colleagues, and visitors.
3. Demonstrated communication skills at a level to understand instructions received and to be understood.
4. Demonstrated positive and enthusiastic attitude, and willingness to be flexible when required.
5. Willingness to contribute in a positive manner within a team environment.
6. Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and infection control issues.
7. Willingness and ability and to work within the Philosophies, Policies and Procedures of Wesley Mission Queensland the Uniting Church in Australia.
8. Certificate III in Individual Care (or equivalent) from a recognised provider.
