Hospitality Services Team Member

Set in the tranquil surrounds of leafy Bray Park in Brisbane's northwest, Anam Cara, meaning 'Soul Place', is an innovative and award-winning aged care community. Anam Cara is home to residents who live across six custom-designed houses interconnected by outdoor walkways that give the community an open, resort-style feeling.
The six houses are all single storey with easy access to expansive outdoor gardens, where residents can entertain family and friends in the BBQ area and children's playground. Anam Cara is conveniently located close to many community amenities with a bus stop across the road and hotel and shopping centre nearby.
All rooms include:
- Air conditioning
- A bed
- Cabling for phone
- A built in wardrobe
- An ensuite
We are seeking Hospitality Services Team Members at Anam Cara, Residential Aged Care Community for a minimum of 20 hours a fortnight.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Align one's workplace behaviour in accordance with the WMQ Charter, Values and Mission of the organisation.
- Work within a team to provide quality catering and cleaning in a home like environment for residents, their family and friends.
- Report to Supervisor.
- Assist residents to attain and maintain their optimum degree of independence, dignity, privacy and quality of life.
- Recognise health and environmental hazards and be proactive in corrective action.
- Be diligent about food handling and food safety.
- Contribute to the assessment process of residents including documentation.
- Contribute to a continuous quality improvement environment.
- Participate in Workplace Health and Safety, infection control and ongoing training.
