Executive Assistant to Office of the CEO & Director of Governance, Performance and Outcomes
About the Role
As a key member of the Office of the CEO team, this role provides executive administrative support to the Executive Manager, Office of the CEO, wider Office of the CEO and the Director Governance, Performance & Outcomes. The Executive Assistant is pivotal in supporting the workload and demands of both offices, and as such the incumbent will need to work with a high level of initiative and with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide direct administration support to the Executive Manager, Office of the CEO & the Director Governance, Performance & Outcomes.
- Manage the CEO, Executive Manager, Office of the CEO and the Director Governance, Performance & Outcomes calendars, including the setting and screening of appointments, ensuring the diary is accurate and functional.
- Proactively attend to tasks and actions on behalf of the Office of the CEO and the Director Governance, Performance & Outcomes as directed.
- Provide secretariat support to the Care & Clinical Governance Committee. Prepare agenda papers for meetings, act as minute secretary and ensure that minutes are distributed in a timely manner.
About You
- Proven ability and experience in a similar position, supporting multiple executives for at least five years.
- You are an enthusiastic self-starter with highly developed organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion and deal effectively with confidential and sensitive issues.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all organisational and stakeholder levels.
- Demonstrated experience taking and compiling accurate professional minutes for Board and/or Board sub-committees.
