Care and Clinical Governance Lead

The Care and Clinical Governance Lead will drive the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Care and Clinical Governance framework to improve WMQ client safety and experience.
In collaboration with the Care and Clinical Governance Committee, the clinicians and operational management teams, this position will assist with the sustainable implementation of the Care and Clinical Governance Framework across all programs and services for WMQ.
Reporting to the Director of Community Care and Inclusion, this is a part time role of 6-7 days per fortnight.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate the development and implementation of a Care and Clinical Governance framework across WMQ
- Assist the existing Quality and Compliance employees with the development and maintenance of processes and systems for recording and management of care and clinical risks and incidents
- Support, advise and work with relevant employees to develop care and clinical governance reports
- Chair the Care, Clinical and Medication Advisory Committee and assist with the preparation of detailed reports and documentation for the Care and Clinical Governance Committee
