About the Role

Located in the newly-opened Dovetree building at Sinnamon Village Hadden Place provides in home and centred-based respite care for customers to help them enjoy life and maintain good health and well being.  We provide centre-based overnight care and support services to a variety of customers with individual and varying needs (including aged care and disability) This role will develop meaningful relationships with customers to understand and meet their needs in relation to keeping them connected. We are looking for casual on call Care Workers to assist and support people with a range of care needs.

Essential requirement of a Certificate III in Individual Care in the field of aged care/disability/mental health from a recognised provider. You must also hold Current driver’s licence and have the willingness to drive during work hours including driving a small bus when required. Other essential requirements as listed in attached Position Description.

Key Duties Include

·         Personal care

·         Assistance with meals & other activities of daily living

·         Transport to centre and community participation

·         Centre-based respite care and social inclusion activities within the centre as required.
