We seek a new Employment Coach to join our team of dedicated and passionate people who want better employment outcomes for young people aged 17 - 21 living with disability.
The role is 45 hours per fortnight.
Key Role Accountabilities:
- Align one's workplace behaviour in accordance with the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland's Vision, Mission and Values
- Assist in the delivery, development, evaluation and administration of the program including communication with families about participant progress as needed; facilitating a diverse group of participants; and directing volunteers
- Work from a strengths-based perspective to assist participants with disability to meet their identified needs
- Deliver learning materials in a workshop format following universal design principles
- Adapt materials where necessary to meet the individual learning needs of participants
- Effectively time manage work days to ensure the full utilisation of working hours and delivery of material in a timely manner
- Connect with businesses and organisations within the local community to develop relationships for work site visits, work experience and employment opportunities for participants
- Provide superior customer service that exceeds customer expectations at all times
- Comply with all organisational Policy and Procedures, as well as WH&S Standards
- Provide effective communication and reporting to management and stakeholders as requested
