Lead Educator Fixed Term Part Time

An exciting opportunity is available to work at The Gap Child Care Centre. The service caters for 48 children – aged from 6 weeks to five years including a Kindergarten Program with a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. We are looking for a dedicated and outstanding Lead Educator, who holds a Diploma qualification, to work alongside our Early Childhood Teacher in the Kindergarten room. The position is 60 hours per fortnight.

Selection Criteria

Applicants must:

1. Hold Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
2. Hold current Working with Children Suitability Notice
3. Hold approved first aid qualifications
4. Communicate effectively and positively with all stakeholders
5. Create responsive learning and inviting learning environments
6. Demonstrate proactive leadership qualities
7. Deliver a responsive early childhood program reflecting the Early Years Learning Framework, our philosophy and the National Quality Standards.
8. Closely liaise with the service's educational leaders
9. Have skills to prioritise and manage work projects efficiently and effectively.
