Hopewell Hospice Cleaner

Hopewell Hospice is seeking a casual Cleaner to work in their hospice facility.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Follow accepted professional Infection Control guidelines and practices
• Advise the relevant Supervisor  of  maintenance needs as they arise in Hopewell's buildings and grounds, including the lights, generator, furnishings, beds and air mattresses, and ponds,
• Follow a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule.
• Monitor and advise the Services manager of any cleaning supply needs.
• Complete Quality Assurance audits as required and participate in Quality Activities
• Attend to development of personal competencies, enhance knowledge and skills, and keep abreast of changes and requirements in relation to cleaning services within the Healthcare industry.
• Participate in performance appraisal, including self-appraisal
• Complete Cleaning Checklists  and lodge with the appropriate person
