Disability Support Worker

The primary role of a Disability Support Workers is to provide assistance to individuals with physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities.  The role includes but is not limited to personal care (showering/dressing), continence support, assistance with meals, assistance with medications, domestic duties (laundry/housework,ironing/gardening), shopping. In addition, a Disability Support Worker will assist in implementing client-specific programs to help these individuals accessing support to build strong social skills and encourage independence wherever possible.
