The Recruitment Coordinator position has been created to provide assistance in improving new employee experience and building a sustainable workforce for our Home Support NDIS (Disability), In Home Care (Aged Care) and other Community Care and Inclusion services when requested.

The successful applicant will be the recruitment interface with our People and Culture team for recruitment of frontline staff, while being responsible for orientation and on-boarding of new staff within the Community Care and Inclusion Directorate.

Essential Requirements Essential: Must have a current Drivers licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.
Essential: Sound understanding of the human resource management function (especially recruitment) within a large complex organisation.
Essential: Strong administration skills including intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of applications particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.
Essential: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision using initiative to follow up and/or escalate issues until resolved.
Essential: Aptitude and ability with HR related application systems and technology.
Essential: Excellent attention to detail, personal organisation and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritise and work effectively in a busy environment.
Essential: Excellent interpersonal skills, including application of customer service principles to all stakeholders in the recruitment process.
Essential: Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the principles of equal employment opportunity, workplace health and safety and continuous quality improvement.
Essential: Willingness to work within the Philosophy, Policies and Procedures of Wesley Mission Queensland and the Uniting Church in Australia.
Essential: Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy.
Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources would be highly desirable.
