Early Childhood Teacher
Jahjumbeen Kindergarten and Child Care Centre, is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to implement our approved Kindergarten Program.

Applicants need:
· Bachelor of Education or Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent;
· Current Working with Children Suitability Notice (Blue Card) or exemption;
· Approved first aid qualifications including asthma and anaphylaxis (or ability to obtain).
To join our team, it is essential that you:
· Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
· A proven ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and make decisions. As well as a strong organisational ability, including effective time management and ability to prioritise;
· A well-developed understanding of theories of early childhood development and current research;
· A proven ability to lead innovative curriculum change.
· An enthusiastic and positive attitude towards the care and education of young children, staff and families;
· Willingness to promote social justice and equity by demonstrating an attitude of acceptance and respect for all children and their families;
· Deliver a responsive early childhood program reflecting on the Centre Philosophy, Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines;
· Ability and willingness to work in accordance with Centre Policies and Procedures.
