WesleyCare Coomera are looking for a Cook on a casual basis to fill Cook's position when required. Food Preparation Duties including fresh preparation, cooking and serving meals for residents and visitors, experience in modified foods preparation highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Perform a variety of food preparation duties including the fresh preparation, cooking and serving meals of for all residents.
- Ensure meals meet the individual dietary needs of residents
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Requisitioning and storing of food supplies
- Monitoring and recording of food and refrigerator temperatures.
- Menu planning in consultation with residents.
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and multi-task to ensure meals are prepared and served as scheduled and the needs of residents are met in a timely manner.
