Personal Carer

We are seeking Personal Carers for multiple roles at WMQ Parkview Residential Aged Care Home. The positions involve shift work holiday relief and start at 20 hours per fortnight with the opportunity of taking on more hours.
The Personal Carer must have good communication skills and understand the use of digital technology that supports care planning.
Past experience in a health or disability environment is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Align ones workplace behaviour in accordance with the principles, values and Mission of the organisation.
- To work as part of a team to provide catering, cleaning and personal care in a home like environment for residents, their family and friends.
- To assist residents to attain and maintain their optimum degree of independence, dignity, privacy and quality of life.
- To report to Nurse Manager, RN, and/or Supervisor.
- To recognise health and environmental hazards and be proactive in corrective action.
- To contribute to the assessment process of residents including documentation.
- To be an active participant in continuous quality improvement environment.
- To participate in Workplace Health and Safety, infection control and training as required.
