Key Responsibilities Include:

• Align one’s workplace behaviour in accordance with the Principles, Values and Mission of the organisation.
• Work as part of a team to provide an integrated service to meet each resident’s individual needs.
• Support residents with all aspects of daily living, including but not restricted to, personal care, associated light domestic duties, hospitality services and social/community participation.
• Support residents to attain and maintain their optimum degree of independence and quality of life.
• Provide residents with a physically and emotionally secure environment and promote their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual well being.
• Other relevant duties as directed.
• To participate in Work Health and Safety, infection control and training as required.
• Work within the Human Services Quality Framework.
• Recognise health and environmental hazards in the work place and assist with corrective action.
• Be an active participant in a continuous quality improvement environment.
• Adhere to Wesley Mission Queensland’s policies and procedures and Code of Conduct.
