Your new role
As a Care Worker you will be responsible for delivering quality care services to clients in their own homes in accordance with their care plan. Our services run 7 days a week from 6am to 9pm providing you with flexibility and work life balance. While you will be supported by a team, on a day to day basis you will be working in the community with minimal supervision so the confidence to work independently is a must. This role requires you to have a Comprehensively insured Motor Vehicle suitable for transporting clients, Current Driver's Licence and willingness to drive and use own vehicle in the course of work. A minimum Certificate III in the field of Aged Care, Disability or Mental Health or equivalent/relevant qualifications (We will consider applicants working towards these qualifications).
Key duties include
- Personal care (showering/dressing)
- Assistance with meals
- Domestic Assistance (cleaning)
- Shopping
- Assistance with transport for medical appointments
- Social activities & Carer Support
- In home respite care and access to other services and any other tasks as stated in the care plan.
