Personal Care Worker - Hummingbird House

Hummingbird House is Queensland's only children's hospice and provides short break stays, family support services, creative therapies, and care at the end of life for children with life limiting conditions and their families. Hummingbird House is seeking to recruit a casual pool of staff.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Personal Care Workers to work within Hummingbird House and in the community providing care and support to children and young adults with a life limiting condition. The successful applicants will be experienced in working with people who have complex needs and require 1:1 care support. Experience within community care, enteral feeding, hoisting, and medication administration would be an advantage. The applicant will have exceptional and compassionate communication skills and have good availability and flexibility to cover shifts.
