Program Coordinator - The ORCA Project

Program Coordinator for NDIS-funded work readiness project for young people aged 17 - 21 living with disability. The ORCA Project is growing and looking for an experienced person with a passion for better outcomes in employment for young people.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Align one's workplace behaviour in accordance with the WMQ Model of Care, the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland's Vision, Mission and Values
- A sound understanding of the issues in working with young people who living with disability and the legislative environment of the NDIS
- Demonstrated applied skills in program & client management including the development of intervention strategies, negotiation, de-escalation of behaviours and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated skills in consultative processes, group development, facilitation and evaluation.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships with business owners and DES Providers to ensure pathways are developed for employment as a defined outcome of the program.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in an environment requiring flexibility and as part of a small team.
- Formal report writing skills and the ability to use current Microsoft Office computer programs.
