Disability Support Worker - Supported Accommodation

Wesley Care Apartments Coomera is a state-of-the-art community with high-tech equipment, and 24-hour care and support by registered nurses, Disability Support Workers, Community Access Facilitator and hospitality staff. Our model of care is focused on the individual to ensure the needs of every resident are met. This creates an environment where residents can enjoy the meaningful, happy lives they deserve.
The primary role of a Disability Support Worker is to provide assistance to individuals with physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities. The role includes but is not limited to personal care (showering/dressing), continence support, assistance with meals, assistance with medications, domestic duties (laundry/housework,ironing/gardening), shopping. In addition, a Disability Support Worker will assist in implementing client-specific programs to help these individuals accessing support to build strong social skills and encourage independence wherever possible.
