Educator (Casual)

An exciting opportunity is available to work in our Toowong & Jahjumbeen Child Care Centres. Our centre are small and cater for children aged 6 months to five years including a Kindergarten Program with a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. Our centres are set in beautiful old Queenslanders and have big and natural playgrounds for all children.

We are looking for dedicated and outstanding Educators to join our team on a casual basis.

Selection Criteria - Applicants must:

• Hold or be studying towards a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Hold a current Working with Children Suitability Notice
• Hold approved First Aid qualifications (HLTAID004)
• Communicate effectively and positively with all stakeholders
• Have initiative and a great disposition to learning
• Create a responsive learning and inviting learning environments
• Demonstrate proactive qualities and ability to work as part of a team
• Deliver a responsive early childhood program reflecting the Early Years Learning Framework, our philosophy and the National Quality Standards
• Closely liaise with the service's Director, Educational Leaders and other Educators
• Have skills to prioritise and manage work projects efficiently and effectively
