Maintenance Fitter

Maintenance Person to fill permamnet full time role within a maintenance Team to perform servicing and repairs of mobile and healthcare equipment. Also required to complete small welding works, repairs, and assist with any reasonable request the Maintenance Team is called on to do.
The position is required to provide a range of services in support of a multi-disciplined Building Maintenance and Projects Team but predominantly to service and repair mobile equipment including powered and unpowered equipment.
Key Role Accountabilities:

- Service and repair mobile equipment throughout all facilities across Wesley Mission Queensland as per pre-determined maintenance schedules.
- Assist in the development and refinement of programmed works.
- Assist in establishing maintenance schedules for new equipment.
- Develop a sound knowledge of new equipment to the extent required to effectively maintain the equipment.
- Keep accurate and up to date records of servicing and repairs completed in a timely manner.
- Order and maintain stock levels as required to facilitate equipment repairs.
- Source and order parts on an ad hoc basis to facilitate equipment repairs.
- Assist as directed other Trades and staff in provision of Maintenance and related services.
- Reliable and quality completion of assigned tasks with minimal supervision and within deadlines allocated.
- Liaise with local managers as required to determine specific requirements and timing of work.
