Qualifications, Knowledge and Requirements:

Essential:

1. Current registration with the Queensland Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

2. Demonstrated skills in clinical nursing practice with an understanding of contemporary nursing theories.

3. Broad experience in general nursing with knowledge of disability/aged care preferable.

4. Ability to liaise with the care team and to provide coordinated care.

5. Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

6. Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles.

7. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work

8. Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy.

9. NDIS Worker Screening Clearance held before commencing.

10. NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You completed before starting.
