About the Role
Asher House is a vibrant group home for 12 residents with an acquired brain injury and additional complex high care needs
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to provide high quality personal care and lifestyle support to people with a disability.
- Compassion and respect for individuals with a disability, colleagues, and visitors.
- Have a good understanding of the values of person centred care
- Have a good understanding of the values of person centred care
- Sound interpersonal skills including effective written and oral communication.
- A proven ability to work in a team environment to build collaborative relationships with individuals who have a
disability, their families, colleagues, management and other external stakeholders
Successful applicants will be supporting our residents to access the community when lockdown restrictions are not being applied due to the current global pandemic. It is essential for all successful applicants to act in a professional manner and in accordance with WMQ organisation values at all times in the facility and when supporting our residents out in the community
