WMQ Community Care Program is seeking Care Workers for our Community In Home Care Staffing Pool. Working across multiple client locations on the Northside of Brisbane, you will require a broad range of skills and knowledge and be able to maintain flexibility with your working hours. All applicants MUST have a comprehensively insured Motor Vehicle, Current Driver's Licence and willingness to drive and use own vehicle in the course of work

Key Duties Include

·         Personal care (showering/dressing)

·         Assistance with meals

·         Domestic Assistance (cleaning)

·         Shopping

·         Assistance with transport for medical appointments

·         Social activities

·         Carer support

·         In home respite care and access to other services and any other tasks as stated in the care plan. 

Skills and Experience

·         Certificate III in the field of Aged Care, Disability or Mental Health or equivalent/relevant qualifications. (We will consider applicants working towards these qualifications)

·         Ability to provide excellent, flexible and holistic care to a variety of customers with varying needs.

·         Understand and commitment to the principles and practices of privacy, confidentiality and professional boundaries in relation to all customers and staff.

·         To record and submit daily tasks and timesheets accurately (i.e. in live time) via the ComCare system.

·         Ability to report changes in a customer's condition, needs or other relevant information to the customer's case manager or coordinator.
