About the Role:
We are seeking a physiotherapist with demonstrated skills and experience with clients living with a disability to join our expanding team! In this diverse and challenging role, you will;
- Work across a range of settings including our hydrotherapy pool, state of the art rehabilitation gym fit our with HUR equipment, excellent clinic treatment facilities and within clients home environments
- Complete a range of assessment and treatment types with a diverse range of clients living with disabilities across the adult lifespan
- Be a part of holistic, multidisciplinary team including OTs, Ex Phys, Dietitians, Speech Paths, Personal Trainers and more!
- Be provided with ample opportunity to learn, grow and develop, as well as support your peers with their own professional development and engage with the next generation of therapists through student placements.
- Work across our two hub sites in Sinnamon Park and Chermside, where we have over 500 clients living at each site through Supported Accommodation, Independent Living and Residential Aged Care
- Demonstrate a passion for physiotherapy intervention for clients living with a disability to improve their independence, function and quality of life
- Have full access to fleet vehicles for travel required for home visits
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide physiotherapy services to customers presenting with a wide range of needs, including aged care, disability, health and wellbeing, return to work and rehabilitation.
- Assessment of customer physical needs and development of individual treatment plans and goals.
- Identify opportunities to provide other cross disciplinary services which may be of benefit to the customer
- Provide instruction, supervision and education to customers, support workers and other carers as required.
