Employment Coach
Mansfield
The ORCA Project at Mansfield is a new service. We seek a new Employment Coach to join our team of dedicated and passionate people who want better employment outcomes for young people aged 17 - 21 living with disability.
Key Role Accountabilities:
- Align one's workplace behaviour in accordance with the WMQ Model of Care, the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland's Vision, Mission and Values.
- Assist in the delivery, development and administration of the program.
- Work from a strengths-based perspective to assist participants with disability to meet their identified needs.
- Participate in required processes to evaluate course and program effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to participants on competency in the learning areas delivered.
- Ensure that all learning material is set at the ability level of participants undertaking the program and that the program delivery methods take learning styles into consideration for maximum impact.
- Ensure that all workshops contain at least two modes of learning (Audio, Visual, Tactile, Kinaesthetic) and that any assessment is conducted throughout the program to cater for a wide range of participant's learning abilities and includes a range of tools such as Short Answers, Projects, Oral Questioning, Video Recordings, Work evidence etc.
- Effectively time manage work days to ensure the full utilisation of working hours and delivery of material in a timely manner.
- Maintain current, comprehensive and auditable electronic and hardcopy participant files.
- Provide superior customer service that exceeds customer expectations at all times.
- Comply with all organisational Policy and Procedures, as well as WH&S Standards.
- Provide effective communication and reporting to management and stakeholders as requested.
