Disability Support Worker - WesleyCare Jindalee

WesleyCare Jindalee is located on Level One of our newest residential aged care community, Dovetree. The residence can accommodate up to 36 residents and provides 24-hour care, with each resident enjoying their own spacious, private room with ensuite, communal living and dining areas and expansive entertaining spaces and gardens within the Sinnamon Village community.
The primary role of a Disability Support Worker is to provide assistance to individuals with physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities. The role includes but is not limited to personal care (showering/dressing), continence support, assistance with meals, assistance with medications, domestic duties (laundry/housework,ironing/gardening), shopping. In addition, a Disability Support Worker will assist in implementing client-specific programs to help these individuals accessing support to build strong social skills and encourage independence wherever possible.
Please be aware in order to be considered for this role you will need to have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' to support compliance with the NDIS Code of Conduct.
